We’ve all seen them, stray and feral cats. We see them by the side of the road, in alleyways, in fields, behind buildings, in empty lots. Some were born in the wild from stray mothers who have never been spayed. Many are pets that have been abandoned or thrown out by their owners. All of them face the same every day challenges of hunger, predators, disease, parasites, cruelty by humans, and the ever present danger of cars.
We here at Second Chance Cat Rescue are just one of many organizations trying to help as many of these poor cats and kittens as possible. On these pages you’ll find pictures and descriptions of cats and kittens we have rescued. Many are available for adoption to people with room in their hearts and homes for a loving playful companion, and you’ll find links to their adoption pages here.
Please be kind to these poor cats. They are God’s creatures, just like us, and are doing their best to survive. Instead of ignoring them, or chasing them, or trapping them, or calling animal control on them, join or support a local organization that helps to rescue them. The satisfaction you’ll feel knowing you’ve done something positive for a few of God’s critters will last you a lifetime.
